Wilderness Safety and First Aid - Full Day Program

Students will explore the different environmental challenges that one might experience when out in the natural environment, where there are typically limited resources and communication.

Students will learn of common injuries such as ankle and wrist injuries, cuts and scrapes and needing to carry someone who is unable to walk using a homemade stretcher.

Act out certain first aid emergencies, and play through scenarios as a team to assist a victim(s) in recovery and removal from the wilderness.
